Job summary

St John Vianney Catholic Primary School in Blackpool is seeking an After School Club Assistant to join our dedicated team. This part-time, term-time role involves supporting children with after-school activities and creating a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• DBS check and medical clearance required.
• Verification of qualifications and National Insurance number.
• Two references including suitability to work with children.
• Proactive and able to deliver a rich, well balanced learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of after-school activities and a safe, welcoming environment.
• Assist with planning and supervising learning activities for children.
• Ensure high standards of behaviour and support for pupils.
• Assist with safeguarding procedures and welfare checks.

• Grade: NJC pay Grade B - scale point range 3 to 4
• Salary: £25,614.00 to £26,016.00 (pro rata)
• Contract: Permanent, term time only
