Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting Teaching Assistants for Liverpool Primary schools. The roles are available on a range of full and part-time hours to support classes and pupils with additional needs. You will be joining welcoming schools and contribute to health, well-being and learning activities.

Applicants should have Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualifications, an enhanced DBS and be eligible to work in the UK. A CV covering the last 10 years and professional references are also required.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • An enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks.
  • CV covering last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Support for pupils either individually or in groups.
  • Support the activities of individuals or groups of children and contribute to their health and well-being.
  • Support children with special needs where appropriate to the role.
  • Support literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom.
  • Maintain pupil safety and behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Provide clerical/admin support as needed and assist in organising learning environments.

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Are you an ambitious Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a Primary school? We are seeking experienced and passionate Teaching Assistants for our Liverpool Primary schools! We are working in partnership with welcoming and inclusive primary schools that require dedicated Teaching Assistants to support classes and pupils with additional support needs. There are a range of full and part time roles available to enhance your skills, knowledge and experience as a Teaching Assistant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support for pupils either individually or in groups
  • Support the activities of individuals or groups of children Participate in the education of children, including contributing to their health and well-being
  • Support children with special needs (if appropriate to the focus of the role)
  • Sensory and/or physical impairment
  • Cognition or learning difficulties
  • Behavioural, emotional and social development needs
  • Communication and interaction difficultiesSupport to the teacher(s)
  • Provide support for learning activities by
  • supporting the teacher in the planning and evaluation of learning activities
  • supporting the delivery of learning activities
  • Support in organising effective learning environments and maintaining appropriate records
  • Support literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom
  • Support the maintenance of pupil safety and security
  • Contribute to the management of pupil behaviour by- promoting school policies with regard to pupil behaviour
  • - supporting the implementation of strategies to manage pupil behaviour
  • Undertake routine marking in line with school policy
  • Provide clerical/admin. support, e.g. photocopying, collecting money, administercoursework.
  • Support for the school
  • Provide support to colleagues
  • Develop own effectiveness in a support role
  • Support for the curriculum
  • Support the use of information and communication technology in the classroom
To join us and be successful in this role you will need:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
