Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a KS2 Teacher for Year 3 to Year 6 in local primary schools. This full-time, temporary position offers scale-matched pay (£140 - £233 per day) and immediate start, with weekly payments via Randstad.

The role emphasises data-informed instruction, workload-conscious planning, and progression opportunities into leadership. Experience with KS2, strong classroom management, and a valid DBS are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and be eligible to teach KS2.
• Strong understanding of KS2 framework and assessment markers.
• Ability to manage a large class effectively and with high energy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for KS2 (Years 3–6).
• Use data and mock assessments to identify gaps and provide interventions.
• Support transition from KS1 to KS2 and prepare for SATs.
