Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a KS2 Teacher for Year 3 to Year 6 Specialist to join local primary schools on a full-time, fixed-term basis. The role offers scale-matched pay (£140 - £233 per day, paid weekly) and an immediate start, with opportunities to lead in SATs preparation and curriculum mastery.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, track progress, and collaborate with Year Group teams to support attainment and a smooth transition for students across key stages.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory; ECTs/NQTs are encouraged to apply.
• Strong KS2 curriculum knowledge and assessment markers.
• Ability to manage a class of 30+ students with high energy and focus.
• Commitment to safeguarding with a valid enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, addressing Literacy and Numeracy gaps.
• Use formative assessment and mock data to identify student needs and provide targeted interventions.
• Support Year 3 transitions from Infants or Year 6 progression toward secondary school.
• Maintain professional communication with families to support students’ academic and social growth.
