Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a KS2 Teacher for local primary schools in the UK. This is a full-time, fixed-term position with scale-matched pay (£140–£233 per day) and immediate start. The role includes collaboration within a Year Group team, CPD on Mathematics Mastery for SATs readiness, and opportunities to pursue leadership pathways.

Qualifications

• QTS mandatory (ECTs/NQTs encouraged).
• Strong understanding of KS2 framework and assessment markers.
• Ability to lead a class of 30+ students with high energy and focus.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, narrowing attainment gaps in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Use formative assessment and mock data to identify student needs and provide targeted interventions.
• Support Year 3 students moving from Infants or Year 6 toward secondary school.
• Maintain proactive, transparent communication with families to support pupil growth.
