Job summary

Hereford Cathedral Junior School is seeking a KS2 Teacher to inspire a love of English and literature. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, reflective and committed, and will create an inclusive learning environment.

The postholder will work with colleagues to plan and deliver an ambitious curriculum; start date January 2027; closing date 28 September 2026. The contract is permanent and full-time.

Job description

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, reflective and committed teacher who can create a stimulating, inclusive and purposeful learning environment. They will have a particular passion for English, with the knowledge and expertise to develop pupils’ reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and inspire a genuine love of language and literature.
