Job summary

Church Hill Middle School in Redditch is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to plan, deliver and assess learning across the National Curriculum, PSHE and Religious Education, with a focus on pupil progress and wellbeing.

The post is a maternity cover, full-time (32.5 hours per week). QTS is required, and the successful candidate will work within a supportive team, uphold safeguarding, participate in performance management and engage with parents and carers.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to appoint.
• Experience teaching across key stage 2 is expected.
• Ability to teach a range of subjects and raise attainment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver aligned lessons across the National Curriculum, PSHE and RE.
• Set clear instructions, maintain pace and challenge.
• Assess, record and report pupil progress.
• Teach a range of groups with high behaviour expectations.
• Lead on marking and feedback to support progress.
• Collaborate with leaders and parents to support continuity.
