Job description

Job Title: KS2 Primary Teacher – Long Term Roles
Location: Havering
Salary: £130 - £250 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 Primary Teacher for long-term placements in schools across Havering, starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for educators looking to make a lasting impact in a supportive school environment.

If you're available before September, we also offer daily supply and block booking opportunities for the remainder of the summer term, giving you the chance to gain valuable experience and maintain continuity in the classroom.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Deliver Lessons: Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of KS2 pupils

  • Support Academic Progress: Assess, track, and support students' academic development to ensure progress

  • Foster Positive Relationships: Build strong working relationships with students, staff, and parents

  • Maintain a Positive Classroom Environment: Manage classroom behavior effectively and ensure a productive and respectful learning environment

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience: Proven experience teaching in KS2, with a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum

  • Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills

  • Safeguarding: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the primary education curriculum, particularly in KS2
