Education Personnel are recruiting enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teachers in Nottingham to support partner primary schools across the area. We welcome applications from qualified teachers with KS2 classroom experience and flexibility for supply, long-term or permanent postings.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, can teach Years 3–6, and will join a supportive network offering opportunities across Nottingham and surrounding zones.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Has good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Is confident teaching Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 or Year 6
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability
• Can plan, deliver and assess engaging primary lessons
• Is committed to providing inclusive and high-quality education

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the KS2 national curriculum.
• Teach core subjects including English, Maths and Science.
• Support pupil progress in reading, writing and Mathematics.
• Assess learning and adapt teaching to different pupil needs.
• Prepare pupils for the transition between Key Stage 2 year groups and into secondary education.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning requirements.
• Maintain effective classroom management and positive relationships with pupils.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
