Job description

Position: KS2 Teacher

Location: Sheffield/Barnsley

Job Description: As a KS2 Teacher in our schools, you will play a crucial role in guiding and inspiring students through a critical stage of their education. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that align with the national curriculum and meet the diverse needs of KS2 students
  2. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, safe, and motivated to learn
  3. Assessing student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development
  4. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote student well-being and academic achievement
  5. Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the school community

Qualifications:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  2. Experience teaching KS2 students preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply
  3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  4. Passion for primary education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment
