We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Wigan. As an agency partner, we are excited to offer this fantastic opportunity for a skilled Teacher who is looking to make a real difference in the classroom. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the curriculum across all key subjects, ensuring that students are motivated, engaged, and supported in their academic journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum as a Teacher.
- Support and guide students in their academic and personal development, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes in the classroom.
- Assess students' progress regularly and provide feedback to ensure all learners are supported effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, as a Teacher, to deliver the best possible outcomes for the students in your care.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning as a Teacher.
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passionate and dedicated Teacher who is committed to making a difference in the lives of primary school students.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom, ensuring all students thrive.
Desirable
- Experience in teaching children with additional needs (e.g., SEN, EAL).
- A proactive approach to professional development and a desire to grow as a Teacher.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a calm and focused learning environment.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in primary education.
- Experience working in a primary school setting as a Teacher, with a focus on building strong relationships with both students and their families.
