Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Blackburn is seeking a proactive KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school for the full academic year. You will work closely with teachers to support learning across Key Stage 2 and deliver targeted SATs intervention, helping pupils build confidence and achieve their best.

Qualifications

Experience in a primary KS2 setting.
Experience delivering SATs intervention.
Experience supporting SEND.
Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Provide general TA support in a KS2 classroom.
Support teachers with engaging lessons.
Deliver SATs intervention sessions to small groups/individuals.
Support English and Mathematics to improve attainment.
Support pupils with SEND to access the curriculum.
Assist with learning resources, assessment and organisation.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
