Job summary

Academics, a leading national education agency, is recruiting enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teachers for short and long term roles across client primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and South Staffordshire. Daily rates depend on experience and the client rate available.

We offer weekly supply, short-term placements, CPD opportunities, and a dedicated consultant to guide you through each step of your placements.

Qualifications

• Has UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and current teaching registration.
• Experience working in UK primary schools, especially KS2.
• Able to adapt to a variety of schools and class setups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS2 lessons across Year 3–6.
• Manage classroom behavior and support pupil learning.
• Collaborate with school staff and assigned consultant to meet client needs.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teachers for short and long term roles within our client primary schools. Working in our schools across Stoke-on-Trent and South Staffordshire can be diversified, meaning that we work with an assortment of primary schools and that we do have different requirements to suit.

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently available.

The ideal applicant will have:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience working in UK primary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• A flexible, positive, and professional approach.
• The ability to quickly build rapport with learners and staff.
• Strong classroom & behaviour management skills.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
