Job summary

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teachers for short and long term supply roles across partnership primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. You will be placed in various schools with flexible daily rates based on experience and client requirements.

The role offers opportunities to work across Year 3–Year 6, with dedicated consultant support and CPD opportunities to develop your teaching profile.

Qualifications

• UK QTS or equivalent
• Experience in UK primary schools preferred
• Strong KS2 curriculum knowledge
• Ability to build rapport with learners and staff

Responsibilities

• Provide daily, short-term and long-term supply cover across KS2
• Adapt quickly to a variety of primary schools
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and learning
• Collaborate with school staff and Academics consultan
• Rate depends on experience and client requirements

We are currently looking for enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teachers for short and long term roles within our client primary schools. Working in our schools across Stoke-on-Trent and South Staffordshire can be diversified, meaning that we work with an assortment of primary schools and that we do have different requirements to suit.

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently available.

The ideal applicant will have:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience working in UK primary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• A flexible, positive, and professional approach.
• The ability to quickly build rapport with learners and staff.
• Strong classroom & behaviour management skills.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
