Job summary

Long-term Teachers Ltd is recruiting a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant for a part-time mornings role at a friendly school near Newton Abbot, Devon. You will support pupils in Key Stage 2, helping them engage with learning and build confidence both academically and socially.

Working with the class teacher and SEN team, you will provide nurturing, individualised support to help pupils reach their full potential. A calm, patient approach and good teamwork are essential, with reliable commitment to pupil

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN is highly desirable.
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting pupil progress.

Responsibilities

Location: Near Newton Abbot, Devon

Hours: Monday to Friday, mornings only

Position: KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant

We are delighted to be working with a lovely and welcoming school near Newton Abbot, who are looking for a dedicated and caring KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a part-time basis.

The Role
