Job summary

Oceans Special Resource Base at Caister Infant & Junior School, part of City2Coast Federation, invites applications for a KS2 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our resource base. The post is permanent, part-time (13 hours per week, term time + 1 week) with January 2027 start, working within our KS2 team to support pupils with diverse needs.

• Experience of supporting pupils with cognition and learning difficulties and SEMH needs.
• Ability to tailor teaching to meet individual student needs and track progress.
• Good teamwork and commitment to a caring, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Support KS2 pupils within a SEMH specialist resource base.
• Work within a KS2 team to deliver high-quality education and meet targets.
• Engage and support hard-to-reach pupils to achieve their potential.
• Collaborate with staff to plan, monitor and follow up on learning goals.
