Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed KS2 Teacher to join a specialist school in Eccles, supporting pupils with SEMH needs. The role is full-time and long-term, starting ASAP, with a focus on building emotional wellbeing, behaviour and engagement in learning.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have KS2 experience, and be confident using positive behaviour strategies to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for pupils with SEMH.

Qualifications

• KS2 teaching experience with SEMH experience preferred.
• QTS holder with ability to teach pupils with SEMH needs.
• Ability to implement positive behaviour strategies and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality KS2 lessons with a focus on SEMH needs.
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning.
• Maintain calm, positive behaviour management and inclusivity.
• Collaborate with school staff to monitor progress and adapt lessons.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a committed and experienced KS2 Teacher to join a specialist school in Eccles, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a positive difference to pupils who may require additional support with their emotional wellbeing, behaviour and engagement in learning. The successful candidate will join a supportive school environment and play an important role in helping pupils develop both academically and personally.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within KS2
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Be confident managing behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
• Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Have a calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Be committed to providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be able to adapt teaching to meet individual needs
