Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed KS2 Teacher to join a specialist school in Eccles, supporting pupils with SEMH needs. This full-time, long-term post starts ASAP and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ emotional wellbeing and engagement.

Full-time, Long-term SEMH KS2 Teacher

Location: Eccles Contract: Full-Time - Long-Term Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a committed and experienced KS2 Teacher to join a specialist school in Eccles, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a positive difference to pupils who may require additional support with their emotional wellbeing, behaviour and engagement in learning. The successful candidate will join a supportive school environment and play an important role in helping pupils develop both academically and personally.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within KS2
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Be confident managing behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
• Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Have a calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Be committed to providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
