Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated KS2 Primary School Teacher to join a lovely primary school in Newark from the end of November. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS2, adapt teaching to meet diverse needs including SEND, and assess progress to guide next steps. A nurturing classroom and strong relationships with families are essential.

Applicants should have QTS, KS2 experience, and an Enhanced DBS. The role offers a supportive school community and weekly PAYE pay.

Qualifications

• QTS and KS2 teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Nurturing, caring approach to pupil wellbeing.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS2.
• Adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs, including SEND.
• Assessing progress and using feedback to plan next steps.
• Creating a nurturing classroom with clear routines and positive behaviour.
• Working closely with colleagues and families to support pupil development.
