Job summary

Randstad UK is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Mildenhall, Suffolk, to recruit a dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher for a long-term, January-to-July role. You will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across KS2, working with a year-group partner and teaching assistants to foster a positive learning environment.

Applicants should hold QTS (or equivalent), have KS2 experience, and be adept at differentiation, behaviour management, and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Proven KS2 teaching experience in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and KS2 assessment frameworks.
• Excellent behaviour management, organisation and communication.
• Enhanced DBS check (Update Service) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan, resource, and deliver dynamic KS2 lessons across the curriculum.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a calm, structured classroom and high expectations.
• Differentiate teaching to meet all learners' needs with SEN support.
• Collaborate with year-group colleagues, attend staff meetings and engage with parents.
