Job summary

We are working closely with a supportive primary school in London to appoint a talented KS2 Teacher on a permanent basis from January 2027. The position offers an engaging environment with a focus on high-quality lessons and pupil development.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, KS2 experience (Years 3–6), and a commitment to raising attainment. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to inclusive, stimulating learning and strong outcomes for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an accepted equivalent.
• Has experience teaching within KS2 (Years 3–6).
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
• Committed to raising attainment and ensuring positive pupil outcomes.
• Creates an inclusive, stimulating and well-managed learning environment.
• Proactive team player with a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Promote strong progress in English, mathematics and other core subjects.
• Use assessment effectively to identify learning needs and inform planning.
• Establish high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement.
• Differentiate lessons to support pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
