Vision for Education is seeking a KS2 Primary Teacher for a full-time, temporary placement in Gateshead (NE9). The role covers a Year 5 class from October 2026 to December 2026, with duties including planning, marking and assessment to support pupils of varying attainment levels.

The position offers excellent daily PAYE rates and a guaranteed pay scheme subject to availability, along with CPD and access to a dedicated consultant.

KS2 Primary Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)

Gateshead, NE9

£600 – £1162 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

October 2026 – December 2026

The School and Role

This primary school in Gateshead (NE9 area) is currently looking to recruit a KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time basis from October 2026. Working in school until December, the KS2 Teacher appointed for the role will be covering a Year 5 class, where pupils have differing levels of attainment. Throughout this placement, there will be full class teacher responsibilities (planning, marking and assessment). This is an average primary school, where staff work together to ensure all children have good learning opportunities.
