New Directions is recruiting for KS2 Teachers in the Caerphilly area for daily/long term cover. This role would suit both NQT’s and experienced teacher.

We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring teacher to provide creative and exciting learning environments to motivate and encourage students to show ambition, maximise their potential and embrace all aspects of school life and to develop a wide-ranging skill set.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum guidelines.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students across various subjects, tailored to their individual learning needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their academic development.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administrators to support the overall educational goals of the institution.
  • Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and educational trends to enhance instructional practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience in teaching and managing a classroom environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and subject-specific requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
