Job description

Your new schoolHays are looking for reliable and adaptable Qualified Teachers to work in Primary Schools across Caerphilly. These roles are supply cover and will cover a variety of schools across Cardiff. As this role is supply, you will be able to let us know when you are available to work, and we can arrange for you to work on the days that you tell us you can!

Your new role

This role can be on a full or part-time basis, meaning you can fit this around your schedule. It will be suited to those who have a passion for teaching across multiple Primary Schools. Some of these roles can be long-term and will include full teaching responsibilities. Duties relating to the role include but are not limited to:

  1. Create lesson plans.
  2. Create and maintain a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment for pupils.
  3. Set homework or exercises for pupils to practice after classroom hours.
  4. Demonstrate tasks, assign, and encourage discussions.
What you'll need to succeed
  • You will need to be a qualified teacher holding a valid QTS.
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of pupils.
  • Up-to-date EWC registration.
  • A passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed.
