New Directions Education are recruiting Key Stage 2 Teachers/NQTs to work with primary schools in the RCT area, covering short-term or long-term supply bookings.

This role offers flexible hours to suit your lifestyle and provides opportunities to work across various primary schools in RCT.

Job Specification

Whether you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or an experienced educator, roles involve delivering curriculum in Key Stage 1 (KS1) to Key Stage 2 (KS2).

• Teach all areas of the curriculum or your subject specialism
• Organise the classroom and resources for a positive learning environment
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons suitable for all abilities
• Motivate pupils with engaging presentation
• Assess and record pupils’ progress
• Support colleagues within your curriculum area
• Stay updated with curriculum changes
• Participate in school events, possibly outside regular hours
• Collaborate flexibly, especially in smaller schools
