Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a KS2 Intervention teacher for a 3 days per week role in Erdington. The post starts asap and runs until at least the end of May 2027. The successful candidate will identify gaps in learning and deliver targeted support to lower-ability pupils, with strong numeracy and literacy skills.

The position involves working within a structured timetable and collaboration with school staff to track progress and adapt strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

• KS2 intervention specialist with the ability to identify gaps in learning and tailor support.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills for targeted intervention.
• Experience working with lower-ability pupils requiring additional support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dedicated intervention sessions for identified KS2 pupils.
• Work within a fixed timetable to support individual children.
• Monitor progress and adapt strategies to close learning gaps.
