Job summary

Veritas Education is representing a primary school in Rossendale seeking a qualified Key Stage 2 Class Teacher for a one-year maternity cover, starting in February 2027.

Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers. The post offers the potential to take on additional Inclusion and/or SENCO responsibilities for the right candidate, subject to safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively and teach inclusively.
• Willingness to take on Inclusion/SENCO responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom where all pupils can thrive.
