Job summary

Education Matters Group is recruiting a KS2 Class Teacher for a long-term role at a primary school in West Molesey. You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and help create a positive learning environment for Years 3–6.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have experience teaching KS2, and be confident in delivering the UK National Curriculum with strong classroom management and differentiation skills. An enhanced DBS update service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6).
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Effective classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to differentiate lessons for varying learning needs.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Support pupils in developing literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies for different abilities.
• Establish clear classroom expectations and promote positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues to support pupils' academic and personal development.
