Job summary

GSL Education Leicester is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher for a friendly Primary School in the Leicester area. You will plan, record, assess and deliver engaging lessons, meeting social and learning needs of pupils and collaborating with staff and parents to support each child’s growth.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have at least 1 year of KS2 teaching experience, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS or equivalent teaching certification.
• At least 1 year of KS2 teaching experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to liaise with parents, staff and students and maintain positive relationships.
• Ability to develop, plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lesson syllabi.

• Monitor progress and intervene to support progress.
• Inspire and motivate students towards learning.
• Provide differentiated learning experiences to meet all needs.
• Enhanced DBS via update service or willing to obtain one through GSL Education.

GSL Education Leicester are recruiting for an experienced KS2 Teacher for a lovely Primary School in the Leicester area. The school works in partnership with children, parents and the wider community to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that challenges children to reach their full potential. The Role:

The role is full time, you will be responsible for teaching a class of KS2 pupils, duties will include planning, recording, assessing and delivering. You will need to meet the social and learning needs of pupils.

As a Year 2 Class Teacher with GSL Education, you will:

• Have previous experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils
• Be warm and enthusiastic, with good organisational skills
• Passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for children
• Be flexible, with a good sense of humour
• Be reflective and always looking to improve your practice

As the ideal candidate for this role, you should:

• Have QTS or equivalent teaching certification
• Have at least 1 Year Teaching experience in KS2
• Have great communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to liaise with parents, staff, and students, and maintain a good relationship with all parties
• Be able to develop, plan, and execute a high-quality syllabus for teaching that engages students critically
• Maintain students academic records and track their progress on a consistent basis
• Manage high levels of student attainment through strong leadership and supervision
• Monitor, evaluate, and intervene to ensure all students are working towards making expected progress
• Possess the ability to inspire and motivate students to grow and learn
• Be excellent at providing a differentiated learning experience that ensures all students receive the help they require
• Have an updated CV with an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to get one through GSL Education
