Job summary

GSL Education Leicester is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher for a lovely Primary School in the Leicester area. The role is full-time with a January 2023 start, offering the opportunity to work closely with children, parents and the wider community to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.

You will plan, record, assess and deliver engaging lessons, meeting social and learning needs while contributing to a supportive school environment that challenges pupils to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching certification is required.

The Role:

The role is full time, you will be responsible for teaching a class of KS2 pupils, duties will include planning, recording, assessing and delivering. You will need to meet the social and learning needs of pupils.

As a Year 2 Class Teacher with GSL Education, you will:

As the ideal candidate for this role, you should:

• Have QTS or equivalent teaching certification
• Have at least 1 Year Teaching experience in KS2
• Have great communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to liaise with parents, staff, and students, and maintain a good relationship with all parties
• Be able to develop, plan, and execute a high-quality syllabus for teaching that engages students critically
• Maintain students' academic records and track their progress on a consistent basis
• Manage high levels of student attainment through strong leadership and supervision
• Monitor, evaluate, and intervene to ensure all students are working towards making expected progress
• Possess the ability to inspire and motivate students to grow and learn
• Be excellent at providing a differentiated learning experience that ensures all students receive the help they require
• Have an updated CV with anenhanced DBS registered to the update serviceor be willing to get one throughGSL Education
