Smile Education is proud to be working in partnership with The Endeavour Multi Academy Trust in their search for a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher.

This is a great opportunity for an committed teacher to make a real impact in the lives of young people by supporting their education and development on a long-term basis at one of the Trust’s primary schools based in Burton-on-Trent.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning and delivering effective lessons for a KS2 class of approximately 28 students.
2. Collaboratively plan lessons with your year group lead.
3. Monitoring and assessing children’s learning progress and development.
4. Marking all work and assessments effectively.
5. Providing effective feedback to students, parents, and families.
6. Deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students.
7. Maintain strong classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
8. Utilise PPA time effectively for planning and preparation.

Applicant requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in KS2 - preferably upper KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a love of learning.
