Job summary

St Mary's Church of England Primary School Horsham is seeking a caring 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to support a high-needs pupil in KS2, both in and out of the classroom. You will provide in-class support, help integrate the pupil into lessons, and deliver bespoke interventions under the guidance of the class teacher.

The role offers CPD opportunities, a welcoming school environment and support from an Inclusion Leader and dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Supporting a high-needs pupil in KS2.
• Maintaining open communication with the class teacher and Inclusion Leader.
• Delivering bespoke curriculum content under direction.
• Contributing to planning and assessment as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support for the pupil.
• Support integration to wider class lessons and activities.
• Deliver interventions or bespoke curriculum content.
• Support the pupil’s social integration with peers.
