The Education Specialists are seeking a Year 1 Part-Time Primary Teacher for a one-term maternity cover in Bootle, starting January. You will support pupils through the transition from Early Years to Key Stage 1, delivering engaging lessons and monitoring progress.

Qualifikationen

• QTS or equivalent teaching status required.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school is essential.
• Experience teaching Year 1/KS1 is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum.
• Understanding of EYFS to KS1 transition.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Proactive, flexible and reflective approach to teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to apply.

• Support pupils in developing phonics, reading, writing, and maths skills.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress with constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, staff, SENCO and leadership.
