Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a Year 1 Graduate Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton to support Year 1 pupils with short, targeted interventions. You will run phonics catch-up, early writing and maths boosters, and help boost pupils' confidence and independence.

This is an immediate start until July 2027 in a good 3-form entry primary school. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, following guidance, preparing simple learning resources, and recording progress to plan next steps as part of your

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Interest in KS1 and pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Run phonics catch-up, early writing and maths boosters.
• Prepare simple teaching resources and keep concise notes.
• Support 1:1 and small-group interventions in Year 1.
