Job summary

The Graduate Network in Wolverhampton is seeking a Year 1 Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a Good primary school on a full-time, temporary contract from an immediate start until July 2027.

Qualifications

Based at a 'Good' three-form entry primary school, the successful candidate provides focused 1:1 and small-group help, running phonics catch-up and boosters for early writing and number. The Role

Requirements

• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in KS1 and pupil progress.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
