Albemarle Primary School invites applications for an additional leadership opportunity as KS1 Phase Leader. The role carries a TLR payment and a fortnightly half-day of leadership release, combining leadership, monitoring and coaching to support colleagues and drive school priorities.

The ideal candidate will be an effective, reflective KS1 practitioner with high expectations for every child, strong early reading and phonics, and the ability to adapt provision for SEND and EAL.

Qualifications

• Clear ability to teach with high expectations for every child.
• Strong emphasis on early reading, phonics, writing and mathematical foundations in KS1.
• Ability to create a calm, inclusive classroom that supports relationships and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor and coach colleagues to raise standards in KS1.
• Support and model high-quality teaching and classroom management.
• Collaborate with SLT and SENCo to improve provision and outcomes.
