Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate KS1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils in a Primary School in Alnwick on a full-time basis. The role involves 1:1 and small group support, including intervention sessions across Year 1-2.

The school values positive relationships, resilience, and proactive teamwork with Class Teachers. Right to work in the UK and a current DBS are required or will be processed.

Competenze

• A Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare qualification is desirable.
• Experience of working with Children in Schools in the UK.
• Hold Right to Work in the UK and be able to process a DBS if required.
• Provide two professional references covering the last two years.

Mansioni

• Support pupils with varied SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Deliver intervention sessions to small groups to boost understanding and progress.
• Develop understanding of different needs and learning styles in conjunction with Class Teachers.
• Provide assistance across the School at breaktimes and lunchtimes as required.
