Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working in KS1 is essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting KS1 pupils with phonics, early reading, writing and numeracy
• Delivering small-group activities and targeted interventions
• Providing 1:1 support for pupils who need additional guidance
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and daily routines
• Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and confidence
• Supporting children with mild SEN needs and helping them access learning
• Ensuring safeguarding and school policies are followed consistently
