Job summary

Senploy is recruiting a KS1 Teaching Assistant for a lovely East London primary in Tower Hamlets. The role starts after the October half-term with paid trial days, and there is a strong focus on supporting early literacy and numeracy in a busy classroom.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, assisting the class teacher, maintaining a calm environment, and supporting pupils with mild SEN. A DBS on Update Service is essential; reliable, friendly candidates who contribute to a nurturing school

Qualifications

• Experience working in KS1 within a primary school setting.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential).
• Strong communication skills and a warm, supportive approach.
• Ability to commit to a long-term role starting after October half-term.
• Reliability, professionalism and confidence working in a busy classroom.
• Supportive leadership team and a genuinely lovely school environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting KS1 pupils through small-group work and 1:1 interventions
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation, phonics, early literacy and numeracy

A warm, community‑driven primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
