Job summary

Leigh Central Primary School on Windermere Road, Leigh, is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to support our EYFS foundation unit and pre-school children through a play-based approach.

You will deliver targeted interventions including Wellcomm, White Rose maths and phonics to small groups and individuals, collaborating with the EYFS team to meet each child’s needs and contribute to ongoing school improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an Early Years setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the EYFS foundation unit with pre-school children in a play-based learning environment.
  • Deliver interventions including WellComm, White Rose maths and phonics to small groups and individuals.
  • Collaborate with the EYFS team to meet needs and support school improvement.
  • Participate in observation, interviews and overall recruitment process as required.

Salary: Grade 4, £12,542 - £13,150 per annum. £13.70 - £14.36 per hour

21 hours per week, term time, working 38 weeks per year

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, dedicated Early Years Practitioner who can support our Early Years team to best meet the needs of our pre-school children.

You will work within the EYFS foundation unit with our pre-school children on a play-based learning approach. Alongside this you will also deliver a range of interventions, including Wellcomm, White Rose maths and phonics, to small groups and individuals across pre-school.
