Norton CEVC Primary School is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. The role involves supporting young learners with activities tailored to KS1 outcomes and working closely with the class teacher to maintain high standards of attainment and behaviour.

Applicants with ELSA and/or HLTA qualifications are encouraged. The post is fixed term until 31 August 2027 (from 1 January 2027) with potential to become permanent, and includes 26.75 hours per week over 38 weeks plus

Qualificações

• Must have experience working with children in a primary school setting.
• Ability to work with others to support learning and behaviour.
• Strong communication with staff and pupils.

Responsabilidades

• Work with children individually or in small groups.
• Support the class teacher to maintain high attainment and standards.
• Demonstrate understanding of National Curriculum requirements.
• Provide observations and evidence for assessments.
