Our supportive and friendly school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive school. We are passionate about developing every child to be the best they can be, whilst nurturing their excitement for learning and exploring the world around them. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our learners and contribute to their formative years of education.

We are keen to consider applicants with ELSA and/or HLTA qualifications.

You will be required to:

• work with children, individually or in small groups
• work closely with the class teacher to maintain high standards of attainment and behaviour
• demonstrate a secure understanding of the requirements of the National Curriculum
• provide observations and evidence for assessments
• liaise with teaching staff to plan and deliver classroom support
• promote and encourage children’s wellbeing and self esteem
• deliver interventions as appropriate to support the needs of the children in the cohort.
