EYFS Practitioner Required - Immediate Start
Location: PRESTON, FULWOOD.
Position: Y1 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (until the end of the academic year)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioner? We are currently working with a well-established primary school in Fulwood, Preston that is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Y1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position is available for an immediate start and will last until the end of the academic year.

Your Role:
  1. Support the delivery of the KS1 curriculum, providing engaging and interactive learning experiences for young children.
  2. Observe, assess, and record children's progress, identifying areas where additional support is needed.
  3. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
  4. Build strong relationships with children, supporting their emotional, social, and academic development.
  5. Work closely with other practitioners and teachers to ensure a consistent approach to teaching and learning.
  6. Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children in your care.

What We're Looking For:
  1. Experience working in an EYFS or KS1 setting is preferred, but not essential.
  2. A passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of child development.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  5. A proactive, positive attitude to supporting children's learning and development.
  6. A commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
