Are you a caring, enthusiastic and committed individual looking to make a real difference in the classroom? A warm and welcoming Burnley primary school is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in a Year 3 class starting September 2025.
This is a varied and rewarding position, providing:
General classroom support to the class teacher, helping to deliver engaging and effective lessons
Targeted support for individual pupils, including those with additional needs such as ADHD and ASD
Assistance with preparing learning materials and maintaining a positive learning environment
Involvement in group work and one-to-one interventions to support academic and emotional development
Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 2
Understanding of or experience supporting children with additional needs including neurodiverse learners
A calm, patient and positive approach with strong behaviour management skills
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
A relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
