We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and committed team. Duties as a KS1 Teaching Assistant:

Support teaching and learning across Year 1 and Year 2, working closely with the class teacher.

Provide one-to-one and small group support, including for pupils with additional needs.

Assist with the preparation of resources, activities, and displays.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes children’s personal and academic development.

Encourage good behaviour, independence, and social interaction among pupils.

Ideal KS1 Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with children in a KS1 or early years setting is desirable.

A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS1 Teaching Assistant.

A clear understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to pupil wellbeing.
