Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a KS1 Teacher for a full-time supply role in Tottenham. You will deliver engaging KS1 lessons across welcoming primary schools and support pupil progress within a structured curriculum.

Requirements include QTS and KS1 teaching experience, strong classroom management and communication skills, and willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS. Salary is paid weekly through PAYE with exclusive staff discounts. Our branches support safeguarding and compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and KS1 competency.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and child development.
• Patient, creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching KS1.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS or current DBS on Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS1 lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and maintain records.
• Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding responsibilities.
