Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a KS1 Teacher for day-to-day supply in Edgware and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging Year 1-2 lessons, follow school planning or adapt as needed, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, are confident in managing behaviour, and can build rapport with pupils and staff. This role offers flexible opportunities across multiple schools in North London.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Confident teaching across Year 1 and Year 2.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Reliable, flexible and professional as a KS1 Teacher.
• Able to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1.
• Follow school planning or adapt lessons to suit pupil needs.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Mark work and provide feedback where required.
• Liaise with school staff to ensure smooth handovers.
