KS1 Teacher - Part-Time Tameside September 2025 Start

Empowering Learning - representing a forward-thinking primary school in Tameside

Empowering Learning is working on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Tameside to recruit a dedicated part-time Key Stage 1 Teacher from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are seeking flexibility while continuing to make a real difference in the classroom.



Position Details:

  • Teaching in either a Year 1 or Year 2 class

  • Working 2-3 days per week (days negotiable)

  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum

  • Supporting early literacy through phonics-based teaching (Read Write Inc. or Jolly Phonics preferred)

  • Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to school planning and progress



Candidate Requirements:

  • QTS (UK or equivalent) with recent KS1 teaching experience

  • Strong phonics knowledge and confident classroom management

  • A flexible, positive, and team-oriented approach

  • Passion for supporting children's learning and development

Location: Tameside

Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Part-time (2-3 days per week), long-term
