KS1 Teacher – Maternity Cover
Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)
Suitable for: Experienced or Recently Qualified Teachers (ECTs)

A well-regarded primary school in Fleet, Hampshire is seeking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic, and reflective KS1 Teacher on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave, starting in September 2025. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers looking to make a positive impact within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils, with a sound understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles.
• Be a confident and effective classroom practitioner who delivers engaging, relevant, and creative learning experiences.
• Maintain high expectations for all pupils’ attainment, behaviour, and personal development.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and identify next steps for individual learners.
• Contribute to creating a stimulating, nurturing, and well-organised learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to the school’s ethos and values.
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional team, supporting colleagues and contributing to whole-school initiatives.
