About the role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality education, creating a stimulating learning environment where pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will plan and teach engaging, well-structured lessons that build on prior knowledge and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Drawing on your strong subject knowledge and understanding of the curriculum, you’ll use a range of teaching strategies to ensure that all pupils are appropriately challenged and supported. You’ll contribute to assessment, pastoral care, and extracurricular life, including leading clubs and attending school events. As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will also support the school’s wider aims and ethos, taking part in marketing activities and building positive relationships with parents and the wider community.

This is a full-time, fixed-term Maternity Cover position with a September 2025 start date.

You bring expertise to your teaching, support individual learners, and contribute actively to the school’s pastoral care. You are committed to supporting the Headmaster in implementing school and Cognita policies, helping to maintain the values and ethos of the school.
